In Search for Spiritual Satisfaction

I am not sure why people are continousely searching for new ways, terms, and ideas to get in touch with their "spiritual" being. There are so many consultants "spiritual" fads nowadays that is beyond belief. Examples are "the secret: the law of attraction", "the power of intention", "the power of silence", "the source" and on and on and on.....What people need is religion, and Islam is the best there is. All the books I read and the seminars I "happen" to attend regarding these issues are so optimistic and speak of so many invisible things...things that we could not see, but for one reason or another the consultants could...

Is it really so hard to realize. Go for Islam. visit www.islamway.com and www.islamtoday.com

Freakonomics

Just finished listening to the audio version of a fascinating book called "Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything" by S. D. Levitt and Stephen Dubner. The book could be called an eye opener by most who read it . What I liked most about the book is Levitt's (main author) way of thinking and research. His odd way of "out of the box thinking". It's beyond any one's box if you ask me. The way Levitt's links different things and derives a common conclusion is really intriguing. I've never guessed why crime rates went down in the US in the 1990's onwards. What do Schoolteachers and Sumo Wrestlers have in common. Why do drug dealers still live with their Mom's...and many more strange questions. What is really stranger or rather "freakier" are the answers Levitt and Dubner provide. I recommend this book for people who believe in the infinite power of imagination. (Image Supplied by www.amazon.com book page)

Inception

I just started this blog to share my views on many issues ; they will not be all related to Saudi Arabia. The blog is not political as I don't have any political affiliation or interests. The issues that will be discussed in this blog will be driven by everyday events and, hopefully, by your comments and questions. Thanks for stopping by.
